Our team delivered a full-scale tenant improvement on the 4th floor of the Larry E. Reider Education Center in Bakersfield, California. The project transformed the space through demolition and reconfiguration of interior walls to create a modern open-office layout, relocation and modification of existing HVAC ductwork for improved airflow, complete removal and reinstallation of the acoustic ceiling grid and tiles, and installation of new Systimax structured cabling for high-performance data and communication infrastructure. We upgraded the electrical systems with additional circuits, power outlets, and energy-efficient LED lighting, installed new doors with matching frames and hardware, repaired and finished drywall, applied fresh paint throughout, and completed the space with new commercial-grade carpet tile and base. The result is a bright, functional, and contemporary work environment that meets current building codes and provides KCSOS staff with a refreshed and highly efficient office space, all delivered on schedule with minimal disruption to the building’s daily operations.
